Starting out
Roger Wood formed the practice that was to become Advoco.
Early years
The practice is incorporated, becoming a limited company.
Our Head Honcho joins the team
Alan Rodgers, our MD joins the practice.
On the Move
We relocate to out of town offices at Granby Industrial Estate on Albany Road.The growing team appreciate the larger offices and easier parking.
Advoco is Born
The firm is re-branded as Advoco, with a vision to expand beyond the usual compliance services by helping clients with all-round business support and advice.
Alan takes sole charge
Alan becomes Advoco's sole Director.
Clients shape our new approach
We introduce quarterly review meetings, reviewing key management information and 3-month progress plans with clients. The service expands after overwhelming client feedback.
Covid 19 Strikes!
As the pandemic causes national lockdowns, Advoco goes into overdrive to help clients and local businesses. Alan creates WhatsApp groups and posts daily help and advice in Facebook.
